Write down why you want to simplify your life.

Make a list of all the reasons you want to live more simply. These are your whys. Your whys will help you when things get hard. They will help you remember to keep going. Writing it down will give you clarity as you make progress.

Discard the duplicates you never use.

Walk around your home with a box and fill it with duplicates. If you don’t need anything or don’t remember what was in the box, donate it.

Create a clutter-free zone.

Clean, clear your environment a little bit each day.

Start a small emergency fund.

An emergency fund simplifies everything. Try to spend less and save more every day or week. Money for emergencies reduces stress.

Do less.

When you are measuring by how much you get done it’s never enough. Breath, take your time and get one thing done at a time.
