Happy Wednesday! Hello everyone, I’m back with another book review. Get ready for more posts like this one. I plan on reading a lot more books in 2025. Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies when I was growing up as a child. As I’ve gotten older, I put it on the back burner. Let’s be honest; as an adult, life can be challenging sometimes. Still, this year I will be intentional about doing things that feed my soul and make me happy. Reading is one of them. So, if you are interested in my thoughts on this book, then keep reading for all the deets.
book review: drama in the church by dynah zale
Drama In The Church; $16.99
Publication Date: October 1, 2008
Number of Pages: 320
Description: Tressie faithfully prayed every night that God would send her a thug. It wasn’t long before her prayers were answered, and she met a handsome ex-convict named Payce Boyd. Payce is a fine ruffneck and everything Tressie ever imagined and more. That is until Tressie experiences first-hand the reality of being a thug’s girl. Seeking solace and comfort in the sanctuary. Tressie soon learns valuable lessons and shocking truths about herself and others.
My Thoughts: This book definitely has a whole lot of drama, and I absolutely love it. This book is so relatable especially for me because I’ve grown up in the church my entire my life. If you enjoy chaotic and urban books, then I recommend this one because it will not disappoint. If you have read this book before, please let me know in the comments.
