ColourPop Review: Ultra Matte Lip In Airplane Mode, Stingraye, Tuesday

I am quickly becoming a huge fan of ColourPop, I’ve tried out some of their eyeshadows and ultra matte lipsticks and so far I’ve been very pleased with their products. A couple of weeks ago I went back on their site to check out more matte lipsticks and I purchased three: Airplane Mode, Stingraye and Tuesday. These matte lipsticks are everything I love them so much they are so easy to apply and they are very pigmented. Keep reading for all the deets.

Price: $6.00

Description: This thin lightweight formula smoothly glides on the lips leaving super intense pigment with a bold, ultra matte look. It is very long wearing and 100% kiss proof which means no transferring.

Step One: Start with bare, dry lips. Prime your lips with out Lippie Primer for a smoother application and more comfortable wear.

Step Two: Line your lips with a matching Lippie Pencil this will help you achieve the perfect finished look and give the appearance of fuller lips.

Step Three: Apply your ultra matte lip in a thin layer for best wear.

Tips: 

  • Exfoliate your lips for smoothest application.
  • If you’d like you can apply your favorite Ultra Glossy Lip as a topper.

  1. I’ve tried two of Colourpop’s ultra matte lipsticks and I really liked them 🙂 L.A.X. and Rooch are beautiful shades and totally woman of color friendly.
