Happy Monday! The holiday season is a festive time to celebrate with family and friends by indulging in our favorite food dishes and holiday beverages. Although we all should enjoy our time, we still should consider our health and fitness even during this season. Be sure to keep reading if you are looking for low-impact workouts to add to your routine.
3 low-impact workouts to stay fit this holiday season
The 12/3/30 Treadmill Routine:
With the 12/3/30 method you set your treadmill on a speed of 3.0 and incline 12.0 and walk for 30 minutes. Trainers suggest adding this to the end of your strength training 2-3 times per week.
Peloton Low-Impact Rides:
The great thing about the brand is that even if you don’t own the bike or treadmill, you can still access the ever-growing portal of workouts for a monthly fee. The low-impact bike rides are great for those recovering from an injury.
Boxing:
This is going to get your heart rate going without putting too much stress on your bones and joints especially the lower body. There are so many ways to box these days from Peloton’s shadowboxing series to sparring with a personal trainer.
