Happy Friday! Between being in quarantine and racial injustice we are dealing with a lot in the world. 2020 has been a stressful year so for today’s post I want to share some ways to help improve our health both physically and mentally so keep reading for all the deets.
5 ways to improve your health
Breath: Practice breathing exercises so you can relax. Inhale deeply through the nose and out through the mouth. Do this daily to reduce stress.
Make Space: Curate a place of positivity. Choose colors, fabrics that make you feel good. Creating a comfortable sanctuary can help keep your stress away.
Get Rest: Sleep deprivation can have serious side affects for your health. It is important to have a nighttime routine. Plan how much caffeine you will have, set your exercise plan and turn off your device a couple hours before you want to rest. Try journaling, listening to music, bathing and meditating before bed.
Exercise: This is good for a healthy body and mind to relieve stress. Create a workout routine that will work for you.
Add Veggies: A plant-based diet has so many advantages but you can boost your nutrition for every meal by adding veggies to your plate.
