Happy Beauty Monday! Today I am sharing a new foundation that I’ve been trying out for a little while now. I appreciate a great full coverage foundation and when I came across this Dewy + Smooth Foundation from Maybelline I was pretty excited to try it because previously I tried another foundation and I was instantly in love. Ok so let me just say this foundation gives me great full coverage and it is quite easy to apply and blend. I use a foundation brush first to apply then I blend it out with a beauty blender. I purchased my foundation in Soft Tan and it matches my skin pretty good. The only thing that does not work for me is that when I picked up this foundation I didn’t pay attention that this foundation is recommended for normal to dry skin and if you’ve been reading my blog for a while now then you know I have extremely oily skin. After wearing this foundation throughout the day my skin is very oily and I have to blot my face quite often just to remove some of the shine. This foundation does leave my skin looking very smooth which I love however I will not be repurchasing this and I will look for a foundation for oily skin. If you have normal to dry skin then I definitely recommend giving this foundation a try.
