CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder + TruBlend Liquid Makeup Review

Happy Beauty Wednesday! For the last couple of weeks I’ve been trying out a new liquid foundation and pressed powder and now I’m ready to share all the deets. Both products are from CoverGirl and I purchased these makeup products from my local Walmart. If you are interested then keep on reading for all the deets.

TruBlend Liquid Makeup

Second choose your number, coordinate complementary truBlend products based on your number for a seamlessly flawless nude look that blends in and virtually disappears.

How To Apply:

  1. Using a disposable sponge wedge or clean fingertip, dab a small amount of foundation on the center of your cheeks.
  2. Blend outward toward the edges of your face, concentrating on uneven areas, and decreasing intensity toward the hairline.
  3. Cover dark circles and conceal imperfections with truFix Concealer Stick. Dab and blend for flawless coverage.

Here is a makeup look that I created using this pressed powder and liquid makeup:

Face Products Used: Mirabella Cheeky Blush | CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder | L.A. Colors Face Palette | CoverGirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup | BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition 21 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette

Eye Products Used: BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition 21 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette | Senna Cosmetics Form-A-Brow Eyebrow Stencil Kit | Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Full Fan Effect | Maybelline The Falsies Push Drama | Maybelline The Colossal Spider Effect Volum’ Express | e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen | e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner | KleanColor Eye/Eye Brow Pencil

Lip Products Used: The Color Workshop Lip Gloss

So…honestly and truly this truBlend Liquid Makeup is just o.k. I would not repurchase this product again. I’ve tried applying it with different brushes and techniques but I just don’t like the way it sits on my face and it doesn’t help at all with my oily skin. So this liquid makeup is a no for me.

The pressed powder is o.k. too, it does the job but it has a strong fragrance smell that takes a minute to get use to. But all in all it’s alright, I am still on the fence if I will purchase this pressed powder again.

What liquid makeup should I try next? Let me know in the comments.
