makeup tips & advice for beginners
Here is a list of basic essential items that all beginners need.
Face Primer: It allows for a base, and because of its consistency makeup naturally wants to stick to it. It allows for a layer of protection from the makeup to prevent breakouts.
Liquid Foundation: Whether you prefer sheer, medium, or full coverage, liquid foundation is a great way to get smooth and even coverage on your face.
Concealer: Using a concealer after applying your foundation is an amazing way to spot areas that the foundation was not able to cover.
Neutral Eye Shadow: When starting out with eye shadows for the first time it is a good idea to keep it pretty natural.
Pencil Eyeliner: Eyeliner helps your lashes look fuller and completes your look. Start out with a pencil liner and once you feel more comfortable try a gel or liquid liners.
Mascara: Help lengthen and create volume to your lashes by using a few coats of mascara after your shadow and liner are complete.
Blush: Using blush helps bring color and life back into your face after applying your foundation.
Lipstick: Wearing a lipstick helps finish off your look. Lipstick has the power of tying everything together. All you need is one or two lip colors that suits your skin color and it will make any makeup look pop.
Translucent Powder: Powder will be the final step in your makeup application. It helps set everything in place while keeping your face shine free.
Now that you know the essentials have fun and beat that face!
